Synastry Observations
~Hi...it's been a minute. I haven't really gotten a chance to be consistent with the blog, but I'm still around and very much appreciative of the love I've received in the past months 🦋🌻✨🤍
...
🦋having venus at the same degree as someone else's mars regardless of signs can lead to almost instant attraction e.g 22° venus in pisces and 22° mars in leo(so this is not the quintessential conjunction and this is not only applicable to a quincunx as used in this instance, but to every venus-mars pairing at the same degree).
🦋north node in 7th house or 5th house can give off that 'meant to be together' feeling although with the 5th house it often lacks longevity as crushes tend to crash and burn.
🦋while 11th house synastry(esp for moon, venus or mars)might not give off the passionate energy people seek for in romantic relationships, it's actually essential for the super comfort element. It is the kind of synastry that makes you comfortable with showing your weird side to the other person.
🦋moon conjunct mars synastry can have intense arguments where they really feel like it could break them apart then end up laughing at it and craving physical contact as a result... this is really not a cliché concept, it's true
🦋 someone having their venus in close conjunction to your ascendant is big 'helplessly in love with you' vibes although it may make the ascendant feel insecure because they often wonder if they're being put on an unrealistic pedal
🦋uranus in hard aspect to ascendant, venus or mars in synastry is an indicator of instant attraction that may often be unwanted by one party and sometimes both
🦋mars in first house synastry can be the 'I hate their guts, but I need to be on top of them🚴🏾♀️' kind of vibe...
🦋acts of service are a driving force with moon, venus, mars and jupiter 6th house synastry and works so well for long term relationships
🦋9th house synastry can indicate a spiritual teacher-student relationship, where the other person is meant to teach you lessons that transform you spiritually.
🦋neptune in 2nd or 8th house can indicate trust issues when it comes to finances in a relationship
🦋 jupiter in 10th house is the couple that's going to elevate each others' status
🦋venus in 8th synastry house can be toxic when there's someone not ready to settle down...they may string you along because they're too selfish to let you go

Forte Circuits and Everything I've Learned About It
this is gonna be a yap fest i apologize in advance
@oldworldpoolhall
Okay, first thing i think it's important to note is the forte circuit bar.
this is really important, cause when you deal DMG to enemies, it will often fill up. I'm going to use simple language cause the problem I have with the game is how confusing the language is and what it actually means. we're gonna call it the Mana Bar.
Hitting enemies means you get Mana, and with Mana, you get the ability to throw hands even harder or do something fancy.
However, you can only collect so much mana before it is at max and will no longer collect.
In the case of wuthering waves, having full mana can mean a lot of things but mainly: consuming the mana means stronger attack responses, such as your resonance liberation.
some characters, when they have full mana, will actually replace their element skill; example of this is Mortefi, who when his mana is full, replaces the skill with a stronger, different attack - but this does not consume his mana.
Resonance Liberation will consume the mana, allowing a character to go "all out" in a sense - and with wuwa terms, almost seems like characters are either overclocking or close to overclocking (not confirmed, but with the way calcharo's appearance changes with his liberation, i suspect it's pretty damn close to overclocking).
something you might also notice:
mana bars with splits.
when a mana bar has a split like this, this means that the consumption of mana is not "all or nothing", like mortefi. the mana needs to only be fills to that split to be effective. in calcharo's terms, he has 3 splits (wuwa calls his mana "cruelty", numbers dont mean a lot of things here unless you actually care about it. i dont, it makes things confusing).
the splits can allow a new thing to happen, where only part of the mana is consumed and allows for different attacks to do more damage - some of these can affect the resonance skill and some can affect normal/heavy attacks.
the only thing you really need to understand about the mana bar is that the more mana you have, the more you can do with it. the more you actually hit the enemy with normal attacks, the more mana you will gain.
next thing to note:
the skills page.
this shows you all your skills and basics of your skills, including your forte circuit.
The actual circuit consists of 3 total nodes. The forte, and 2 inherit skills.
Here you can see that Mortefi's "mana" is called Annoyance .. and i really hate that they do this because it's confusing when reading between characters, but what can you do. Again, numbers don't mean shit. What this is telling you is that when Mortefi's Annoyance (aka, Mana) is full, his resonance skill changes and becomes more powerful (dealing attribute "element" damage). It also tells you how to build up this annoyance.
in simple, general terms: hit the enemy, get mana.
since your oc seems to be going for sub DPS, i suggest looking at Mortefi's skills.
His skills mainly deals with ATK and attribute (fusion) bonus increases.
Inherit skills, once unlocked, will likely serve to increase the character's ATK, DEF, or HP. In some cases, it may also incease Crit rate or DMG. Usually, it is a percentage.
At your basics for a character, it's good to know a few things:
Normal Attack node 1 (max 10 upgrades): this is a rundown of your Basic, Heavy, Mid-Air attack, Mid-Air Heavy (if applicable but most characters do not have this), and Dodge Counter
Normal Attack node 2 is usually going to be healing/attribute dmg or crit dmg
Normal Attack node 3 will be crit/healing/attribute dmg again, just a higher %.
Normal Attack and Intro skill are mirrors - the damage % on the nodes are the same, except for node 1.
same with resonance skill and resonance liberation, the nodes will usually be the same for node 2 and node 3.
Other things that can impact a character's strength:
Echoes ; these are super interesting and kind of important, as a good echo set can really make a difference. I can definitely go into detail on these later if needed.
Weapon ; a good weapon, while not always make or break, will definitely allow a resonator with no built skills to still be solid enough to stand on their own.
Combat style ; if you're anything like me, i subscribe to the "just hit harder" books, so a lot of my characters can not only take a hit, but will hit like a damn truck. crit rates might be higher because i prefer to hit more consistently, and any extra damage is just a bonus.
Enemy Type ; different tacet discords are going to require different things to keep an eye out for. while generally speaking, most the more common tacets aren't going to be of much problem and typically only have 1 or 2 attacks, the more elite and stronger tacets are going to have different ways to fight them - knowing their patterns is key to successful dodges and counters, while also knowing that some you cannot just hit harder and brute force through (lumiscale constructs my destested) - an observant resonator will take the time to watch these particular tacet discords and be prepared for how they attacked.
you can't always dodge an attack, but knowing a pattern of attacks and knowing the signs of when they're going to unleash a certain attack will definitely incease the ability to dodge, or to get the heck out of dodge before you become a grave marker on the side of the road.

So first episode of tmagp season 2 was a RIDE. Me and my friend have had some Thoughts on Colin and Freddie and data integration. I thought it could be fun to share them in case other people found interest! :
Firstly, my pal thinks that Colin might have been becoming an avatar in some way like Ink5oul. Ink5oul was unaware of what was happening to them also, and they had the same kind of angry fear about the situation they were in (even if they found some twisted joy in theirs sometimes).
The rest of this is from the episode itself:
Colin is organically joined to computer w/o blood when Gwen and Alice find him. (Note that the stage implies blood was present in the recording of Colin attacking Freddie, assuming blood is in fact Colin's and Freddie isn't bleeding?).
Host=self.host -> Freddie running as itself? Freddie sees 'Becher' i.e. Colin as an extension (of itself?) - evidence towards Colin being an avatar related to Freddie.
"self.host runtime interruption" caused by the crowbar. THEN as attack happens Colin's 'administrator privilege' is revoked.
It sounds Freddie is physically doing something to Colin after the crowbar attack. Computer has control over physical parts of itself? As in it can move them - reference is made to Freddie physically grabbing Colin and "forcibly dragged" into the server. Note: Freddie has physical defences!!!
This happens AFTER the crowbar "unexpected data" is "isolated/resolved". Which is also when it states that "Independent operation permissions revoked" and "Node integration running". Did it view Colin as a part of its system? A part that was independent of Freddie but still belonged to it. Other parts of the system include everything that's been recording on inc. computers/phones/cameras.
Now that Colin has attacked Freddie, it has deemed that the independent external part of its system cannot be trusted to remain independent. So it is now absorbing him into it's central system (the server itself).
Colin's organic matter is mostly discarded (the bit where Freddie is discarding data e.g. carbon.BECHER). The only exception is sulphur.BECHER which is *uploaded*!!! Sulphur has applications in computers to help them process data more efficiently - specifically mimicking how the human brain processes stuff (according to the article below at least). Which implies that Freddie is discarding Colin's body apart from the bits that are useful for processing the 'non-physical bits' of him.
(also: https://eprints.soton.ac.uk/396823/1/JLT_acp_nh_acp%2526hj_review_v2_r1_final.pdf)
"Extension BECHER" is "resolved" after the elemental data is discarded, which supports this! (credit to Edward Elric for training me to recognise what makes up a human body). Freddie then reads out "Data integration cycle ongoing <0.02%>" which implies that it is still processing some of the "data" from absorbing Colin. This happens 3 minutes from when Colin starts being absorbed. If you do the maths this means that this data will be 100% integrated after 25 hours i.e. data integration of Colin in just over a day!!
I think this means we might get Colin as another voice in the computer - but I'm not sure what this means for Chester/Jon, Norris/Martin and Augustus/Jonah. In the same chunk of Freddie dialogue as data integration we get that the "self.host errors" are resolved (which I think means Freddie is up and running) BUT that ".jmj error not resolved". To me jmj is very Jon/Martin/Jonah coded - so I am curious what is going to happen with regards to that and what the error implies.
ALSO Freddie states that "New administrator privileges assigned". Which to me means someone else has been given Colin's role as Administrator to Freddie. And I don't know about you guys but titles never seem to go well for the person given them in the magus verse.
God I am so excited for the rest of this season!!!

"I understand your agitation, I am not without my own anger, my own pain. But I ask you now to stop hurting the others you've forced from their rest- they are innocent- they've earned their peace." "False. Concept: Innocence not detected. Query: All things created inherently filthy. Proof Returned: The INTRUDER." "You are not within everything, INTRUDER." "Someday. We will be."
I realized I really need to be talking about Hope Adder Enterprises, The Wicked Dig, and really... anything that's not just Pig and Sow after months waving them around like an advertisement sign for my clan lore, so I'll talk a little bit about a couple other major players, these two are V.A.N. and The INTRUDER. My heaviest deviance from site lore is connected to the works of Hope Adder, and these two- notably, the time-lock that exists around the facilities of Hope Adder and the Analog Virus that INTRUDER himself spreads, things that are still magical in nature to ME so I can use them for my cyber/dieselpunk lore fantasies okay.
VAN is the cause of the time lock, and at one point, was a completely normal tundra scientist living in Lightning with her research partner and husband, but as much as necessity breeds innovation among the researchers of any flight, desperation breeds mistakes- and desperation in VAN's husband led him to strip VAN of her recognized form and of her personhood entirely, trapping her within H.A.E.'s walls as something of a Biomechanical AI core, every spike or spine actually a node to attach wires and cables, her mind fragmented into pieces more useful for the application of research. He was successful, for a time, Stolen research, valor, and a 'missing' wife right beneath the nose of his fellow scientists- but in her desperation to escape, to free herself from the newfound binds of a world that made no sense and a forced loyalty to the very people who would throw her aside the moment someone easier to work with appeared, she clawed at thin spaces in reality, at gaps she didn't quite understand but knew were doors she might be able to squeeze through- surely her spirit was smaller than the body she'd been trapped within.
Instead, she threw open the first tear, instead, she unleashed INTRUDER. Born of trash code and a desperation to escape, INTRUDER is actually without a proper form of its own, wearing the visage of the first dragon it saw- of the first dragon it mangled and consumed. A technological parasitoid, a virus with a mind of its own, INTRUDER quickly infected or outright killed most of the people within Hope Adder when it was released, and in her horror, VAN deployed a failsafe- trapping those in the facility in a time-bubble the moments after INTRUDER's escape- stilling the infection in those still alive within, and trapping the survivors in the moments before the cataclysm.
Her efforts to contain INTRUDER would be in vain, however. Slipping out seconds before the temporal lock could settle into place, VAN had successfully built the perfect prison for the things she let go- but couldn't restrain the only one that mattered.
Now, Hope Adder Enterprises operates as a secure base used to contain, capture, and study entities both infected with INTRUDER's Analog Virus and those of the mysterious "Host"- theorized to be one in the same.
Now, VAN has to work with her captor once more- she hopes that perhaps he might be speaking the truth for the first time ever, when he says his intention is to cure- but she's seen the way he craves power.
#flight rising#fr#hope adder enterprises;#VAN;#INTRUDER;#okay to rb/comment!#eventually i'll stop using that disclaimer tag but today is not that day.

astro notes: daily transits 8/1
The first day of August begins with a vibrant and dynamic aspect as Venus forms a trine with Eris. This energizing influence is well-suited for physical activities, particularly those that can be shared with a friend or loved one. The theme of independence and connection is further reinforced by a sextile between Mars and the North Node in the evening, promoting growth and avoiding old patterns of codependency. The Cancer Moon has a largely uneventful day, except for an afternoon opposition to Ceres, highlighting the need for setting strong boundaries, especially within family dynamics.
Key Influences
Venus Trine Eris:Dynamic Connection: The trine between Venus and Eris brings a sense of dynamism and excitement, particularly in relationships. This aspect supports physical activities that can be enjoyed with others, fostering both connection and a sense of independence.
Mars Sextile North Node (8°23' Gemini–Aries):Avoiding Codependency: The sextile between Mars and the North Node encourages growth and the pursuit of individual paths without falling back into old codependent behaviors. This aspect promotes assertiveness and a forward-looking attitude, making it easier to set and maintain boundaries.
Cancer Moon Opposite Ceres (1:19 p.m.):Setting Boundaries: The opposition between the Cancer Moon and Ceres emphasizes the need to establish and maintain strong boundaries, particularly in family relationships. This aspect can bring up issues related to caregiving and nurturing, highlighting the importance of balancing self-care with the care of others.
Integrating the Influences
Morning Activities:Engage in Physical Activities: Utilize the energizing influence of the Venus-Eris trine by engaging in physical activities with a friend or loved one. An early morning run or workout can enhance feelings of connection while also promoting a sense of independence.
Assertiveness and Growth:Embrace Individual Paths: The Mars-North Node sextile encourages you to focus on personal growth and assertiveness. Avoid falling into old patterns of codependency by setting clear goals and pursuing your individual path with confidence.
Family Dynamics:Set Strong Boundaries: The Cancer Moon's opposition to Ceres highlights the importance of setting strong boundaries, especially within family relationships. Take this opportunity to assert your needs and ensure a healthy balance between caring for others and taking care of yourself.
Evening Reflection:Plan for Personal Growth: Reflect on your personal growth and the steps you can take to avoid old patterns. The evening sextile between Mars and the North Node is an excellent time to set intentions for the future and plan how to maintain your independence while fostering healthy connections.
Practical Applications
Morning Routine:Physical Connection: Start the day with a physical activity that can be shared with someone close to you. This can be anything from a run, a yoga session, or a workout that allows you to connect while also promoting independence.
Boundary Setting:Family Interactions: Be mindful of family interactions today, especially around the afternoon when the Cancer Moon opposes Ceres. Use this time to establish and communicate your boundaries clearly and compassionately.
Personal Goals:Focus on Growth: Take advantage of the Mars-North Node sextile by setting personal goals and focusing on your individual growth. Consider what steps you can take to avoid codependent behaviors and promote a healthy sense of independence.
Evening Planning:Future Intentions: Spend some time in the evening reflecting on your personal journey and setting intentions for the future. Plan how you can continue to grow and maintain healthy relationships without compromising your independence.

After the prototype drops we're going to set up a proper gofundme/kickstarter/what have you to get us funding for the beta and 1.0.0 so I'll work on what the goals are for that but I think primarily its going to be: getting a native app on Android, iOS, Windows, Mac and various Linux platforms other then Ubuntu (since it will be developed Ubuntu/Debian first), getting nodes out to people to expand the network and fleshing out the application layer/dev experience

Hi Isaac, if you have a minute, here's another rando anon for mbti guesses according to birth chart. I'm Aries moon (12th h) and rising, MC in Capricorn, sun (3rd h), venus (2nd h) and mercury (2nd h) in gemini, mars in virgo (5th h), jupiter in sagittarius (8th h), North node in Scorpio. Thanks, and Happy New Years if you celebrate it.
Hey anon rando, I ABSOLUTELY have a minute to guess your MBTI based on your birth chart. Happy New Year to you too! Hope it has been a good one so far, and that you're getting a good start on your New Years' Resolution (if you have one)!
Aries Placements: AC & Moon
Normally, I would start with the sign your Sun is in, but since you've got prominent Aries placements, and Aries LOVES being first, thought I'd switch it up a bit >:) (not to mention you mentioned Aries first, yourself!) Two of your big three are in Aries, that's pretty significant for your overall demeanor! Aries being your rising sign might mean that you aspire to possess Aries traits and for other people to see them in you - Aries are known for being the ultimate self-starter as a cardinal Fire sign, so you might value in taking action, and doing so quickly, without wasting time. You might also see the value in conflict and strife and pride yourself on your ability to hold your ground in tense situations by standing up for what you believe in. This CAN be a combative quality, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it always is - you might also simply see disagreements and arguments as a natural fact of life, and not something to be feared, but to be embraced, because they lead to important discussions that cannot be avoided forever. This particular attitude may be more representative of your Moon being in Aries, because your moon represents your deepest emotions that most people don't see on the surface. I see Aries' intense motivation to take action as a very Te trait because they are often focused on a goal, but I see the emotional, subjective, and oftentimes impulsive nature of Aries' decision-making as a much more of an Fi-trait. The impulsive nature of Aries also might imply a preference for perceiving over judging in type dichotomy, meaning preferred perceiving function is likely an objective one (Ne or Se). I would be more inclined to lean more towards Se since focusing on the observations that are relevant here and now (rather than thinking of all the different possible outcomes) may lend itself the most handy to quick decision-making and not wasting precious time. An Aries moon can also indicate strong, difficult to control (potentially immature) feelings that may bring an element of discomfort to the native when acknowledging them, which can indicate the Te-Fi axis. I am willing to give some minor points towards the Ti-Fe axis since it still can still indicate the subjective nature of the Aries decision-making process. Same logic applies to minor points towards the Ne-Si axis, since it can still indicate the preference for a perceiving over judging dichotomy. Possible types: xSFP, xNTJ, xNFP, xNTP
Gemini Placements: Sun, Mercury, Venus (stellium!)
Ahh, love Geminis, you guys get such a bad rap, and it's really too bad. As a Gemini Sun, you'll likely love learning (maybe even alliteration lmao). Capable of seeing two sides to everything, and a curiosity that motivates you to seek them out, to boot, you're thirst for knowledge is a very important part of your core - these themes will be even stronger in your life because you've got a stellium in Gemini. I'm inclined to give points for a preference towards a Thinking attitude, since Gemini is often regarded as one of the skeptics of the zodiac. Although, they do tend to need proof of something before truly adopting it as a belief or accepting it as valid, they tend to be more open-minded at a baseline compared to the Earth signs because they enjoy giving thought to interesting ideas, even if they don't have the most practical applications, should they be proved as valid in the future. Another common trait of Geminis is their ability to change their minds, because of their ability to see both sides of a situation. For these reasons, I can see a preference for Ti as a subjective function over Te. As a Mercury in Gemini, you are a smoooooth operator. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, so having it placed in this sign means that it is in domicile - the way Mercury likes to express itself is made very easy, being in Gemini! You may have a gift for communication and connecting with other people. You might also have a knack for public speaking, or at the very least, a natural charisma that makes you interesting and easy to listen to. How else can I say it other than you've got Speech 100 lmao, congrats. Shouldn't take a genius to figure out that this can be a strong Fe trait! As a Venus in Gemini, you might attract Gemini-coded people, or be attracted TO Gemini-coded people. The way to your heart might be through intellectually simulating conversation! It would be easy to assign another point for a Thinking attitude here for that reason, but I'm actually more inclined to give points towards an iNtuitive attitude, because intellectual discussion that Gemini enjoys oftentimes revolves around perception, rather than judgement. I am inclined to give a point towards Ne, since Venus Gemini values seeing multiple sides of an issue. Of course, Ni is also possible, if my unofficial theory that Ni users appreciate the novelty of Ne users (which sparks attraction between the two) is true - this is because Venus here could indicate what you're attracted TO, in addition to how you express your attraction. Possible types: xNTP, xNFJ
Virgo Placements: Mars
We're twins with this placement (seems every chart I analyze I'm a twin with at least one of their placements lmao)! I actually really love Mars in Virgo. Similar to me, it seems to be your only Virgo placement, which makes it a bit simpler to analyze. Mars is all about your motivation, passion, and/or aggression. Having it in the pure, perfect, and objective sign of Virgo makes for an interesting combination. You may have a difficult time getting started on things because of your desire for them to be perfect - you might have some really great ideas that never make it past the drawing board for this reason! BUT, if you do find a way to make it past this barrier, then you may have this quality where you are very good at defining exactly how you want to execute something, and bringing it into existence without having to compromise much (or at all) on the, not even the quality of it, but more so the content and/or expression of the thing itself. I would say this gets a few points towards the Te-Fi axis for goal accomplishment. Possible types: xxTJ
Sagittarius Placements: Jupiter
Another planet in domicile! Interesting that you're Sagittarius and Gemini placements (aka sister signs, aka signs of opposite polarity) both have their ruling planets in the appropriate signs. Jupiter as the planet of good luck, abundance, and expansion in Sagittarius might mean that you have a knack for generosity and open-mindedness, especially with respect to foreign ways of thinking (or even foreign places!). These natives are often described as free spirits, who love adventure and studying new ideas that are different from their own, but unlike Gemini, they tend to approach with less skepticism and more optimism. For this reason, I would give a point for Fi-Te due to the optimistic nature, and Ne-Si for novel ideas. Possible types: xNFP
Additional notes
Of the planets you gave me, you've got 3 below the horizon line, and 2 above. We're missing Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, so whether you have a majority of total planets above or below the horizon line is indistinguishable and, in my opinion, can't reliably be used to determine a preference for introversion or extraversion. I'm going to consider your placements in your big three more heavily than your other placements. Since your big three is all Fire and Air, and those elements tend to be more extraverted, I'll give you a preference for extraversion. So, what's the top 5?
ENFP
ENTJ

INFP
ENTP
Feel free to follow up in another anon to let me know how I did! (fingers crossed lmao)

About agri world on Lords of Silence by Chris Wraight
Najan is an agri world. There are templates for such places, drawn up in the fathomless past and never altered by the Administratum. All agri worlds are of similar size, located in similar orbital zones within their void systems and subject to specific exposure to a prescribed spectrum of solar radiation. Their soils have to be within a tight compositional range, and they have to be close to major supply worlds.
The Imperium is not a gentle custodian of such places. After discovery of a candidate planet, the first fifty years are spent in terraforming according to well-worn Martian procedures. All pre-existing life is scrubbed from the rocks, either by the application of controlled virus-chewers or by timed flame-drops. The atmosphere is regulated, first through the actions of gigantic macro-processors and thereafter by a land-based network of control units, more commonly referred to as command nodes. Weather, as least as generally understood, disappears. Rainfall becomes a matter of controlled timing, governed by satellites in low orbit and kept in line by fleets of dirigibles. The empty landscape is divided up into colossal production zones, each patrolled by crawlers and pest-thopters. Millions of base-level servitors are imported, kept at the very lowest level of cognitive function but bulked up by a ruthless level of muscle-binders.
Soon after this process completes, every agri world looks exactly the same – a flat, wind-rummaged plain of high-yield crops swaying towards the empty horizon. A person could walk for days and never see a distinctive feature. Not that anyone sane would choose to walk in such places – the industrial fertiliser dumps are so powerful that they turn the air orange and make it impossible to breathe unfiltered. A single growing season exhausts the soil completely, requiring continual delivery of more sprays of nitrates and phosphates, all delivered from the grimy berths of hovering despatch flyers. The entire world is given over to a remorseless monoculture, with orthogonal drainage channels burning with chem-residue and topsoil continually degrading into flimsier and flimsier dust.
But that doesn’t matter. A planet can be driven like this for thousands of years before it eventually keels over and becomes a death world. The quality of the crops gets steadily worse, but the quantity can be sustained almost indefinitely, assuming that supply lines are maintained and imports remain consistent. At the end of every season, the great harvester leviathans are stoked up and dragged from their pens and let loose on the grey fields, smokestacks belching and tracked under carriages sinking deep. These massive creatures of high-sided metal and intricate pipework, the smallest of which are a hundred metres long, crawl across the blasted prairies, sucking up every last speck of pallid grain and piping it directly to antiseptic internal hoppers. Feed-landers come down from high flight, dock with the still-trundling leviathans and extract the raw material, from where it is taken into the city-sized processor vats, blasted with antibiotics, smashed, burned, crushed, then stamped and packaged. Once ready for transport, containers are dragged up into orbit aboard swell-bellied landers, ready for transfer to the void-bound mass conveyers, which deliver the refined product to every starving hive world and forge world in their long circuits.
There is a quaint tradition in the various propaganda departmentos of the Administratum of marketing agri worlds as quasi-paradises, free of the squalor and overcrowding of a standard urban station, and full of bucolic ease. Vid-cards are dropped into communal hab-warrens, extolling the virtues of a life lived outdoors with the sun on your back and a ruddy-faced boy or girl – subject to preference – by your side. In reality, life on an agri world is as unrelenting, back-breaking and monotonous as the vast majority of other Imperial vocations. There are no trees laden with glossy fruit, only kilometre after kilometre of hissing corn. There are no gentle strolls under the warming sun, only punishing work details in rad-suits, leaning into the dust-laden winds that howl around the equator with nothing to halt their rampage. Once the new arrivals have made planetfall and found this out, it is too late. Crew transports arrive on agri worlds full and leave empty.
There is a saying among the indentured workers – you come for the soil, you end up part of it.

Mastering Data Structures: A Comprehensive Course for Beginners
Data structures are one of the foundational concepts in computer science and software development. Mastering data structures is essential for anyone looking to pursue a career in programming, software engineering, or computer science. This article will explore the importance of a Data Structure Course, what it covers, and how it can help you excel in coding challenges and interviews.
1. What Is a Data Structure Course?
A Data Structure Course teaches students about the various ways data can be organized, stored, and manipulated efficiently. These structures are crucial for solving complex problems and optimizing the performance of applications. The course generally covers theoretical concepts along with practical applications using programming languages like C++, Java, or Python.
By the end of the course, students will gain proficiency in selecting the right data structure for different problem types, improving their problem-solving abilities.
2. Why Take a Data Structure Course?
Learning data structures is vital for both beginners and experienced developers. Here are some key reasons to enroll in a Data Structure Course:
a) Essential for Coding Interviews
Companies like Google, Amazon, and Facebook focus heavily on data structures in their coding interviews. A solid understanding of data structures is essential to pass these interviews successfully. Employers assess your problem-solving skills, and your knowledge of data structures can set you apart from other candidates.
b) Improves Problem-Solving Skills
With the right data structure knowledge, you can solve real-world problems more efficiently. A well-designed data structure leads to faster algorithms, which is critical when handling large datasets or working on performance-sensitive applications.
c) Boosts Programming Competency
A good grasp of data structures makes coding more intuitive. Whether you are developing an app, building a website, or working on software tools, understanding how to work with different data structures will help you write clean and efficient code.
3. Key Topics Covered in a Data Structure Course
A Data Structure Course typically spans a range of topics designed to teach students how to use and implement different structures. Below are some key topics you will encounter:
a) Arrays and Linked Lists
Arrays are one of the most basic data structures. A Data Structure Course will teach you how to use arrays for storing and accessing data in contiguous memory locations. Linked lists, on the other hand, involve nodes that hold data and pointers to the next node. Students will learn the differences, advantages, and disadvantages of both structures.
b) Stacks and Queues
Stacks and queues are fundamental data structures used to store and retrieve data in a specific order. A Data Structure Course will cover the LIFO (Last In, First Out) principle for stacks and FIFO (First In, First Out) for queues, explaining their use in various algorithms and applications like web browsers and task scheduling.
c) Trees and Graphs
Trees and graphs are hierarchical structures used in organizing data. A Data Structure Course teaches how trees, such as binary trees, binary search trees (BST), and AVL trees, are used in organizing hierarchical data. Graphs are important for representing relationships between entities, such as in social networks, and are used in algorithms like Dijkstra's and BFS/DFS.
d) Hashing
Hashing is a technique used to convert a given key into an index in an array. A Data Structure Course will cover hash tables, hash maps, and collision resolution techniques, which are crucial for fast data retrieval and manipulation.
e) Sorting and Searching Algorithms
Sorting and searching are essential operations for working with data. A Data Structure Course provides a detailed study of algorithms like quicksort, merge sort, and binary search. Understanding these algorithms and how they interact with data structures can help you optimize solutions to various problems.
4. Practical Benefits of Enrolling in a Data Structure Course
a) Hands-on Experience
A Data Structure Course typically includes plenty of coding exercises, allowing students to implement data structures and algorithms from scratch. This hands-on experience is invaluable when applying concepts to real-world problems.
b) Critical Thinking and Efficiency
Data structures are all about optimizing efficiency. By learning the most effective ways to store and manipulate data, students improve their critical thinking skills, which are essential in programming. Selecting the right data structure for a problem can drastically reduce time and space complexity.
c) Better Understanding of Memory Management
Understanding how data is stored and accessed in memory is crucial for writing efficient code. A Data Structure Course will help you gain insights into memory management, pointers, and references, which are important concepts, especially in languages like C and C++.
5. Best Programming Languages for Data Structure Courses
While many programming languages can be used to teach data structures, some are particularly well-suited due to their memory management capabilities and ease of implementation. Some popular programming languages used in Data Structure Courses include:
C++: Offers low-level memory management and is perfect for teaching data structures.
Java: Widely used for teaching object-oriented principles and offers a rich set of libraries for implementing data structures.
Python: Known for its simplicity and ease of use, Python is great for beginners, though it may not offer the same level of control over memory as C++.
6. How to Choose the Right Data Structure Course?
Selecting the right Data Structure Course depends on several factors such as your learning goals, background, and preferred learning style. Consider the following when choosing:
a) Course Content and Curriculum
Make sure the course covers the topics you are interested in and aligns with your learning objectives. A comprehensive Data Structure Course should provide a balance between theory and practical coding exercises.
b) Instructor Expertise
Look for courses taught by experienced instructors who have a solid background in computer science and software development.
c) Course Reviews and Ratings
Reviews and ratings from other students can provide valuable insights into the course’s quality and how well it prepares you for real-world applications.
7. Conclusion: Unlock Your Coding Potential with a Data Structure Course
In conclusion, a Data Structure Course is an essential investment for anyone serious about pursuing a career in software development or computer science. It equips you with the tools and skills to optimize your code, solve problems more efficiently, and excel in technical interviews. Whether you're a beginner or looking to strengthen your existing knowledge, a well-structured course can help you unlock your full coding potential.
By mastering data structures, you are not only preparing for interviews but also becoming a better programmer who can tackle complex challenges with ease.

came for the juicy and rare prowl posts discussing things in his perspective, all the shit done to him, the unfairness done to his characterization (they are beautiful i LOVE it op). stayed for the 3d things. as an aspiring 3d artist and wanting to be a game developer too, should i try to practice in blender first? i mean, i did have 3ds max but the free one i got is only for a 1-year student plan thing, and i am gonna graduate so, is like blender the safe way to practice? i don't know if i make sense op but i just wanna know if investing my time in learning blender would go somewhere 😭 because i kept hearing that companies don't use blender that often? idk huhuhu
Glad you like the Prowl posts! They've definitely become something of a staple on my blog, lol.
As far as 3D goes, my perspective is that as long as you're learning modeling (or rigging, or animation, or whatever) and not just learning a program, it really doesn't matter what you use. Yeah, different programs have different strengths, and some are more widely used than others, but most of what you need to learn as a 3D artist has nothing to do with software.
Like, you could just learn some basic tools and then make whatever you want. It might not be easy, but you could do it. But if you just jumped in and started moving vertices around, it would be a mess. You need to take the time to learn good topology so you can make models that are easy to edit, deform properly when they're animated, and look right when they're rendered. And the more you learn, the more you realize good topology is hard. But it's also a skill you only need to learn once: once you know what good topology looks like and how to achieve it, learning to model in a new program is just figuring out a different path to the same results.
In your case, 3ds Max is up there with Maya as far as being used by a lot of AAA studios, so if you still have it, I would definitely say use it while you can. It doesn't hurt to get a head start on learning how it works. But you can also absolutely use Blender to learn skills that are applicable regardless of the program. Plus, a lot of small studios use Blender, so if you're interested in joining indie teams or doing freelance work, you actually could end up using it on a project.
A couple tips and suggestions, since modeling for game dev is also one of my end goals:
Not everything you can do in Blender can be exported into a game engine. You're probably fine with basic models and rigs, and you can create animations in Blender and export those, but engines handle stuff like textures and shaders differently. It's a good idea to export models periodically while you're working on them and see how they behave in your engine of choice. Bendy bones are also a Blender exclusive and can't be used in other programs - you might see people say the same about geometry nodes, but there are now ways to convert them to mesh so they can be exported (although when I tried this with Godot, the objects were untextured. This may or may not have been because of my export settings).
You might also see people say that whatever gets you the results you want is the right way to do things: I would suggest ignoring that advice unless you know what rule you're breaking and why you're breaking it. For example, N-gons (faces with 5 or more sides) are generally something you want to avoid, but sometimes you need them.
People also say that computers have gotten powerful enough that poly count doesn't matter anymore. It's still a good idea to use as few polys as you can, both to make models easier to work with and as a kindness to those of us who don't own a gaming computer.
Basically, if someone suggests taking the easy way out and their reasoning amounts to "don't worry about it", they probably don't know what they're talking about.
#Blender#I'm by no means an expert so other thoughts on the matter are welcome#But as long as you focus on transferable skills Blender can teach you a lot#even if you switch to something else later

While I largely want to figure things out myself so don't wanna know about say the Ruinbringer's mechanics or such (promise to watch your streams after I fight him though!) would you perhaps be down to list the steps to get Ending 2 (or Ending 3) since the steps to achieve a certain ending are the one thing I don't want to use up time figuring out
Ending 2 and Ending 3 are mutually exclusive, you have to discard items from one to head to the other. For Ending 2, you need the Treasure Map, and will earn The Lost Charger, for Ending 3, you need the Sand Coin, and then you'll get the Reefsteep Ring and the Dropped Crown. Discarding the Map will also discard the Charger. Discarding the Coin will also get rid of the Ring and the Crown. This resets all your progress in the quests, and you may redo them to reacquire the items at your leisure.
As far as I know, you need Ending 1 baseline for Ending 2, not sure Ending 3. The Treasure Hunter won't appear otherwise
"Ending 2" - Treasure:
Make sure you do not have the Sand Coin.
Talk with Old Isin in the Market.
Watch the event where Old Isin leaves.
In the Game Map, keep an eye out for the Event where you find the Treasure Map. It'll be signaled by a ! sign on a cleared map.
Find the Treasure Hunter randomly in Nodes. Talk to her, and agree to give her the map. If you said no, she'll randomly appear in a future node and you can give her the map at that point.
Find the Treasure Hunter again in Nodes. She'll have the translation for the map.
On this run or when applicable, you'll have to fight The Ruinbringer, who'll lead the Lord Ameer's army. Defeat The Ruinbringer for the ending and The Lost Charger.
"Ending 3" - Assassination:
Make sure you do not have the Treasure Map.
Complete Manticore's sidequest, signaled by you having the Fragrant Flowers.
In the Market, talk to Manticore every time you encounter her until she doesn't open her shop interface and instead talks about something else. Old Isin will be in the Market as well if this conversation can be triggered, make sure to talk to her first every time or you can lock yourself out of this ending until you find and discard the Map again, as her conversation and Old Isin's are mutually exclusive (Old Isin's is the one that then makes him leave and makes you find the Map).
Randomly find Sand Soldier (Passenger) in Nodes, he'll give you the Sand Coin.
Talk to Sand Soldier in the Market. Besides the Gift, keep talking to him every time you see him.
Find Old Isin randomly in Nodes.
In the Game Map, watch the Event in which your clan's anger is ignited.
Randomly find Manticore in Nodes.
There'll be an event afterwards in the Market, you'll get the Reefsteep Ring.
Randomly find Manticore in Nodes.
In the Game Map, find an Event that tells you about how the Sand Soldier vanished.
Then, another Event at the Market, in which Old Isin burns his own camp and leaves.
Guess What, Randomly find Manticore in Nodes.
One Final Time, Randomly find Manticore in Nodes, disagree with her, and choose to assassinate the Lord Ameer.
Hydrate after all this random nonsense.
Now, on this run or when applicable, you'll be able to fight Al-Rafiq, who'll lead the Lord Ameer's army. Defeat Al-Rafiq, and you'll earn the ending and the Dropped Crown.

Experiment 0000 Perspective Theory
Accelerating Rate of TSECpm development, complexity, and density The challenge of the exponential increase of TSECpm can be approached using concepts, philosophies, and applications of TSECpm itself and they can be applied in a way that accommodates many different, and different types of belief systems via suspension of disbelief resulting in a perspective meta space is a model of sets, axioms, edges, and nodes
Applying concepts from TSECpm and the individual treating their own life as an on going engineering project using methods, externally reviewed via the scientific and statistical analysis and subject to peer review and cybernetic modulation. This will should provide a host of benefits including raising the quality of an individual personal experience much higher level and quality of self actualization and also bestowing the ability adapt to novel or challenging/stressful situations effectively and efficiently a significantly faster rate
The total amount of all past and current human experience and the interactions of their respective axioms integrated significance, culture is impossible to measure and understand. With the exponential increase in the rate of TESCpm being created the current human faces a staggering amount of information and problems to manage and the challenges facing humanity are only going to grow in number and complexity If you reduce and classify all of human experience into a few manageable well defined domains with (e.g. technology, engineering, science, culture, philosophy, medicine, maths statistics.. ect.)
“Any open or closed system that can and perceive, assign, remove or modify meaning to parts of own system or other any other systems are a candidate for personal engineering Current philosophy is extremely biased towards the human first person pov perspective and if groups of people implement this system their lives there could be unprecedented new levels of complexity of communication between actors
This model of human experience I proposed can be understood with the study of perspective in art. Using mathematics, deductive, inductive and abductive logic in abstraction in parallel with reduction along with any basic form of taxonomy.
It is possible to turn most things that can be described or observed to be remade into an axiom. This includes the external and internal and the objective, subjective, and inductive.
One point can be described with multiple axioms and suspension of disbelief can be used to reduce conflicts.
These axioms can be arranged via taxonomic/set theory (logic) principles to form a network or grouping of axioms which can have any logical rules assigned to any axiom arranged in any order or arrangement described in mathematics.
The axiom systems themselves can be abstracted or reduced into new axioms to form systems of infinite complexity for various purposes.
However before you get carried away it would be a lot easier to start using already defined axioms. Sciences, and normatively defined areas of human knowledge and experience and so on.
Perspective in art can be used to get a more realistic and accurate representation of a perceived subject
To get an idea of how this theory would work in vivo. In perspective drawing the subject is drawn to appear more realistic one or more vanishing points to give the illusion of perspective on a flat surface As seen here each perspective in this case changes the eventually projected diagram of the box. It is the same box in each case, just in this case different points of axioms have been chosen to construct the final image. Perspective theory just means adding in new axioms as a point of perspective to construct a new model from. Adding and Removing axioms can radically change the resultant model allowing for deep insight into interesting relationships
Oral Human language of just spoken word and no visual contact is conventionally one dimensional and there are many ongoing efforts to create polydimensional communication systems
Roughly speaking We see a “3d” world in two dimensions However humans can think and operate in many dimensions, in this context include modular/non modular examples (define and provide examples). Due to the vast interconnectedness in the brain conscious experience is not truly 3d either rather conscious experience follows a dense interconnected and twisted wireframe model making it difficult to visualize purely 3d shapes from a first person perspective
An axiom in perspective theory can be a science or a branch of the sciences such as physics, biology, and chemistry. Going through day to day life with these Axioms in the forefront of your mind can fundamentally change the way how you view yourself, your experience, and environment throughout a day functionally employing PE
Traditionally perspective in art has been used in a Euclidean sense however if you roll with subjectivity for a bit you could represent anybody's view or any way of looking at the world as a new dimension/axiom. Using the systems described earlier you can paint or model a “picture” in your mind of a subject (x) described in many “dimensions” 3d perspective, colour, biology, its materials, its physical properties, the general public opinion, and any other sets you come up with while minimising the occurrence of cognitive dissonance and keeping the total model logically consistent Theoretically allowing any consciousness to utilize a method that could be potentially more effective at describing more aspects reality than science (Due to the equal importance and use of deductive, inductive abductive logic and a small pinch of subjectivity held in check by the principles of pure logic and mathematics)
Everything we are consciously aware of (Thoughts, feelings, internal narrative, sensations, senses and perceptions) is a highly abstracted model. An edited and streamlined UI (selected for by natural selection to reduce the cost of adapting to a complex environment and promoting choices best for the organism's fitness), the system of the brain that has executive control decisions aka “you” the end user.
Math modeling, abstraction, go into detail and make clear.
A healthy humans body, including the brain is a complicated machine and powerful supercomputer
Everything we are consciously aware of (Thoughts, feelings, internal narrative, sensations, senses and perceptions) a highly abstracted model. An edited and streamlined gesalt UI (selected for by natural selection to reduce the cost of adapting to a complex environment and promoting choices best for the organism's fitness), the system of the brain that has executive control decisions aka “you” the end user.Input is done on conscious attention and focus of the executive control system on certain aspects of the UI.
This model can predict the nature of some of the structures of the brain and their function The selection pressure offered as an explanation for the evolution and development of consciousness will also yield some hypotheses to be tested.
This model is abductive in nature and need to pass critical tests and become highly corroborated considered to have the status of a true scientific theory However even if the model isn’t robust it still has some applications as a conceptual model to utilize in personal endeavors.
Assuming this model to be true or suspending disbelief, this model can be abstracted to form an axiom or “single unit” in a completely different model using a form of mathematics and logic..
Each domain can be abstracted to an axiom
These core axioms of human experience can be used to construct an easy to manage, modify and comprehend model of the totality of experience and to study the interactions of the axioms and any emergent properties.
Theoretically with this sort of modeling. With the same axioms and the same rules of interaction and logic. People would be able to avoid a lot of the issues of subjectivity.
Due to its nature, the model is not purely a truth seeking enterprise and has some aspects of mathematics
Assumptions-Definitions Cybernetics is loosely defined as any open or closed system that can and perceive, assign, remove or modify meaning to parts of own system or other any other systems (not really)
Some philosophy is extremely biased towards the human perspective
However the model of human experience I proposed earlier can be more easily understood with the study of perspective in art. Using mathematics, deductive, inductive and abductive logic in abstraction in parallel with reduction along with any basic form of taxonomy .Anything* that can be described can be remade into an axiom. These axioms can be arranged via taxonomic principles to form a network or grouping of axioms which can have any logical rules assigned to any axiom arranged in any order or arrangement described in mathematics. In perspective drawing the subject is drawn to appear more realistic one or more vanishing points to give the illusion of perspective on a flat surface
Human language is traditionally one dimensional We see a “3d” world in roughly two dimensions However humans can think in multiple more dimensions and experience intertextuality In this context, an axiom supergroup such as science or the general shared culture of human a demographic can be represented as a dimension
Perspective in art is can be to get a more realistic and accurate representation of a perceived subject
However in all human experience can be argued to be perceived Traditionally perspective in art has been used in a Euclidean sense however if you roll with subjectivity for a bit you could represent anybody's view or any way of looking at the world as a new dimension. Using the systems described early you can paint a “picture” in your mind of a subject described in many “dimensions” 3d perspective, colour, biology, its materials, its physical properties, the general public opinion while minimising the occurrence of cognitive dissonance.
Input is done on conscious attention and focus of the executive control system on certain aspects of the UI
This model can yield predictions and hypotheses that can be subjected to the scientific method This model can predict the nature of some of the structures of the brain and their function The selection pressure offered as an explanation for the evolution and development of conscious will also yield some hypothesis to be tested
This model is abductive in nature and need to pass critical tests and become highly corroborated considered to have the status of a true scientific theory

Each domain can be abstracted to an axiom
These core axioms of human experience can be used to construct an easy to manage, modify and comprehend model of the totality of experience and to study the interactions of the axioms and any emergent properties.
Hopefully the model can provide an individual with a far greater and deeper understanding of themselves, others, society and the universe they live in. The model also can be used to make and test predictions As the model is based on axioms, the model itself can be changed in a similar way by removing axioms, adding new ones or changing existing ones potentially allowing for very powerful and complex simulations for exploring the big questions and even the small ones.
Theoretically with this sort of modeling. With the same axioms and the same rules of interaction and logic. People would be able to avoid a lot of the issues of subjectivity.

Project Updates - Aug 6, 2024
Back at it again! I'm hoping to get these devlogs up to at least once a month, if possible, assuming I can keep up this kind of pace with coding. Updates under the cut~
SWN GM Tool
When I decided to update my project list, I said I was moving my old SWN GM Tool down to a sort of backburner status. It felt a bit like the end of an era; the GM tool was my first real personal project that I had started after college and had been poking at it for the last ten years or so, so officially putting it on hold with a desire to come back to it one day was a little interesting.
Especially since I started working on it again that very same week.
I decided to start the whole project over, essentially, and use this as an opportunity to learn to use Godot more at the same time. Within a few days, I had made a simple Faction creation widget as well as a list of factions. In a week, I had a mechanism for saving that faction list to a file and loading it back up as well. All in a simple application made with Godot UI nodes!
I haven't touched the project again in a little over a month, now, but I'm feeling very good about returning and working more on it. Next steps are to make a Faction View scene that shows the stats and assets of the faction, and allows adding and removing assets. Once I feel like I have a good enough user experience for it - something that's not really my specialty - I'll probably upload it to itch.io with just the Faction and asset tracking. After that, I'd like to include a simple map and then a way to run the Faction Turn.
Libtcod Tutorials
Over a year after I received feedback from r/roguelikedev about my attempt at making a C++ tutorial for libtcod, I have begun making a concerted effort to continue working on the codebase again!
After the whole effort of getting a simple eventing system using double-dispatch in place, I took a pretty good break before returning. I decided to make sure the code was working on both Linux and Windows, and updated to the C++23 standard at the same time, which introduced some issues. At first I thought it was a problem with MSVC, but was able to replicate it with Clang as well. It turns out that the way I was doing virtual inheritance for the event handlers worked perfectly fine in C++20, but broke in C++23. Getting that figured out took a few days, but after that I confirmed it worked on GCC, Clang, and MSVC :D
Next I'm going to continue working on the actual tutorial code before I return to writing the tutorials for C++ again, to make sure that there's not more optimizations or architectural changes I'll want to do down the line that would be better to backport again.

Introducing Samsung 24GB GDDR7 DRAM For AI Computing

24GB GDDR7 DRAM
Future AI Computing: Samsung Launches 24GB GDDR7 DRAM. It sets the standard for graphics DRAM with its industry-leading capacity and performance of over 40Gbps.
First 24-gigabit (Gb) GDDR7 DRAM from memory pioneer Samsung was revealed today. Next-generation applications benefit from it’s speed and capacity. Data centers, AI workstations, graphics cards, gaming consoles, and autonomous driving will employ the 24Gb GDDR7 because to its high capacity and excellent performance.
“By introducing next-generation products that meet the expanding demands of the AI market, it will maintain to leadership position in the graphics DRAM market.” The 5th-generation 10-nanometer (nm)-class DRAM used in the 24Gb GDDR7 allows for a 50% increase in cell density while keeping the same package size as the previous model.
The industry-leading graphics DRAM performance of 40 gigabits per second (Gbps), a 25% increase over the previous iteration, is achieved in part by the advanced process node and three-level Pulse-Amplitude Modulation (PAM3) signaling. The performance of it may be further improved to 42.5 Gbps, contingent on the environment in which it is used.
Applying technology previously used in mobile devices to graphics DRAM for the first time also improves power efficiency. Power efficiency may be increased by more than 30% by reducing needless power use via the use of techniques like dual VDD design and clock control management.
The 24Gb GDDR7 uses power gating design approaches to reduce current leakage and increase operational stability during high-speed operations.
Major GPU customers will start validating the 24Gb GDDR7 in next-generation AI computing systems this year, with intentions to commercialize the technology early the next year.
GDDR6 vs GDDR7
Compared to the current 24Gbps GDDR6 DRAM, GDDR7 offers a 20% increase in power efficiency and a 1.4-fold increase in performance.
Today, Samsung Electronics, a global leader in cutting-edge semiconductor technology, said that it has finished creating the first Graphics Double Data Rate 7 (GDDR7) DRAM in the market. This year, it will be first placed in important clients’ next-generation systems for validation, propelling the graphics market’s future expansion and solidifying Samsung’s technical leadership in the industry.
Samsung’s 16-gigabit (Gb) GDDR7 DRAM will provide the fastest speed in the industry to date, after the introduction of the first 24Gbps GDDR6 DRAM in 2022. Despite high-speed operations, new developments in integrated circuit (IC) design and packaging provide more stability.
With a boosted speed per pin of up to 32Gbps, Samsung’s GDDR7 reaches a remarkable 1.5 terabytes per second (TBps), which is 1.4 times that of GDDR6’s 1.1 TBps. The improvements are made feasible by the new memory standard’s use of the Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM3) signaling technique rather than the Non Return to Zero (NRZ) from earlier generations. Compared to NRZ, PAM3 enables 50% greater data transmission in a single signaling cycle.
Notably, using power-saving design technologies tailored for high-speed operations, the most recent architecture is 20% more energy efficient than GDDR6. Samsung provides a low-operating voltage option for devices like laptops that are particularly concerned about power consumption.
In addition to optimizing the IC design, the packaging material uses an epoxy molding compound (EMC) with good thermal conductivity to reduce heat production. Compared to GDDR6, these enhancements significantly lower heat resistance by 70%, ensuring reliable product performance even under high-speed operating settings.
GDDR7 Release Date
According to Samsung, commercial manufacturing of their 24GB GDDR7 DRAM is scheduled to begin in early 2024. Although the precise public release date is yet unknown, this year’s certification process with major GPU manufacturers is already under way. With the availability of next-generation GPUs that will support the new memory standard, GDDR7 DRAM is now expected to be readily accessible in the market by 2024.

Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology: A Comprehensive Guide
In recent years, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology have revolutionized the way we think about finance, security, and even the internet itself. While both of these concepts might seem complex at first glance, they hold immense potential to reshape industries, enhance security, and empower individuals globally. If you’ve ever been curious about the buzz surrounding these digital innovations, you’ve come to the right place.
In this article, we will break down what cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are, how they work, and the various ways they are being used today. By the end, you’ll have a solid understanding of these cutting-edge topics and why they are so important in the modern world.
1. What is Cryptocurrency?
At its core, cryptocurrency is a type of digital currency that uses cryptography for security. Unlike traditional currencies issued by governments (such as dollars or euros), cryptocurrencies are decentralized and typically operate on a technology called blockchain. Cryptocurrencies are designed to function as a medium of exchange, and they offer a new way of conducting secure financial transactions online without the need for a central authority like a bank.
The most well-known cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, but there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple, each with its own unique features and use cases.
2. How Does Cryptocurrency Work?
Cryptocurrencies operate on decentralized networks using blockchain technology. Each transaction made with a cryptocurrency is recorded in a public ledger known as the blockchain. This ledger is maintained by a network of computers called nodes, which verify and confirm each transaction through complex algorithms.
What makes cryptocurrency unique is its decentralized nature. Since there is no central authority controlling the currency, users have more control over their funds. This also provides an added layer of security, as the system is resistant to hacking and fraud.
3. The Birth of Bitcoin: The First Cryptocurrency
In 2008, an unknown person or group using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin to the world. Nakamoto published a white paper titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” that outlined the principles of what we now know as Bitcoin.
Bitcoin became the first decentralized cryptocurrency, and it offered a solution to some of the flaws of traditional financial systems, such as high fees, slow transaction times, and reliance on third parties. Since its inception, Bitcoin has grown to become the most widely recognized and valuable cryptocurrency.
4. Blockchain Technology: The Backbone of Cryptocurrency
Blockchain technology is what makes cryptocurrencies possible. A blockchain is a distributed ledger that records transactions across multiple computers. Once data is recorded on the blockchain, it is extremely difficult to alter or delete, making it highly secure and immutable.
Each block in the chain contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. This interconnected structure ensures that the data is secure and tamper-proof. Blockchain technology isn’t limited to cryptocurrencies; it has a wide range of applications, from supply chain management to healthcare.
5. How Does Blockchain Work?
To put it simply, a blockchain is a chain of blocks, where each block represents a set of data. When a new transaction is made, that transaction is added to a block, and once the block is complete, it is added to the chain.
The process of validating these transactions is carried out by miners (in proof-of-work systems) or validators (in proof-of-stake systems). These participants ensure that the transaction data is correct and consistent across the entire network.
The decentralized nature of blockchain means that no single entity controls the ledger. This makes it highly resistant to manipulation, and it creates a more transparent system of record-keeping.
6. The Advantages of Blockchain Technology
Blockchain technology offers a wide range of benefits, which is why it has gained so much traction across various industries. Here are some key advantages:
Security: Blockchain is designed to be secure. Each transaction is encrypted and linked to the previous one, making it nearly impossible to alter data without detection.
Transparency: The decentralized nature of blockchain allows for full transparency. All participants in the network can see and verify transactions.
Efficiency: Traditional financial systems can be slow and costly. Blockchain allows for faster transactions at lower fees by cutting out intermediaries.
Decentralization: Blockchain is not controlled by a single entity, giving users more autonomy over their data and transactions.
7. Common Applications of Blockchain Technology
While blockchain technology is best known for its use in cryptocurrency, it has a variety of other applications. Here are a few examples:
Finance: Beyond cryptocurrencies, blockchain is being used in the financial sector to streamline processes like cross-border payments, loans, and insurance claims.
